ScalpArena is a prediction trading platform, not a gambling service. However, any activity involving financial risk can become problematic if not managed responsibly.

1. Our Commitment

ScalpArena is committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable prediction trading experience. We believe that trading should be a form of entertainment, not a source of financial stress or personal harm.

We have built a comprehensive set of protection tools directly into the Platform to help you stay in control of your trading activity. We encourage all users to set personal limits and to use these tools proactively, rather than waiting until concerns arise.

If at any point you feel that your trading activity is negatively affecting your well-being, finances, or relationships, we urge you to take advantage of the resources described on this page.

2. Available Protection Tools

ScalpArena provides the following tools to help you manage your trading activity:

Capital Management Tools (Deposit Limits)

Set maximum deposit amounts on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once a deposit limit is reached, no further deposits will be accepted until the limit period resets. Making a limit more restrictive (lowering the amount) takes effect immediately. Increasing or removing a deposit limit requires a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before the change takes effect.

Risk Management Controls (Loss Limits)

Set daily loss caps and match limits to control your exposure. Loss limits track your net losses over the specified period. Once your limit is reached, you will be unable to enter new matches until the period resets. Like deposit limits, making loss limits more restrictive is immediate, while increasing them requires a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for each trading session, ranging from 30 minutes to 8 hours. The Platform will actively track your session time and provide alerts when you reach 75% and 90% of your set limit. When your session time limit is reached, a blocking overlay will appear reminding you to take a break. This helps prevent extended trading sessions that can lead to fatigue-based decisions and poor judgment.

Self-Exclusion

If you need a break from the Platform, you can activate self-exclusion for a defined period:

  • 24 hours — a short cooling-off period
  • 7 days — a one-week break
  • 30 days — a one-month break
  • 90 days — a three-month break
  • Permanent — indefinite exclusion from the Platform

During self-exclusion, you will be unable to log in, place predictions, or deposit funds. Self-exclusion cannot be reversed early. You must wait until the selected period has fully elapsed before regaining access to your account. Permanent self-exclusion can only be reviewed by contacting support after a minimum of 12 months.

24-Hour Cooling-Off Period

To prevent impulsive decisions, any change that makes your limits less restrictive (increasing a limit amount or removing a limit entirely) is subject to a mandatory 24-hour waiting period. The change will only take effect after this period has elapsed. You may cancel the pending change at any time during the cooling-off period. Changes that make limits more restrictive (lowering amounts or adding new limits) always take effect immediately.

3. How to Activate Controls

Setting up your responsible trading controls takes just a few steps:

  • Log in to your ScalpArena account.
  • Navigate to your Profile page.
  • Select the "Limits" tab.
  • Configure your desired deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, or self-exclusion settings.

These tools are available for all users with a funded account. We recommend setting your limits when you make your first deposit, before you begin trading.

4. Warning Signs

It is important to recognize the signs that your trading activity may be becoming problematic. Consider taking a break or seeking help if you experience any of the following:

  • Spending more than you can afford — using money intended for essential expenses such as rent, bills, or food to fund your account.
  • Chasing losses with larger stakes — increasing your stake sizes after losing in an attempt to recover previous losses quickly.
  • Neglecting responsibilities — missing work, school, or social commitments because of time spent on the Platform.
  • Borrowing money to fund your account — taking loans or borrowing from friends and family to continue trading.
  • Feeling anxious about your balance — experiencing stress, anxiety, or mood swings related to your account balance or match outcomes.
  • Hiding your activity from others — feeling the need to conceal the amount of time or money you spend on the Platform from family or friends.
  • Trading to escape problems — using the Platform as a way to avoid dealing with personal issues, stress, or negative emotions.
